Daqing Oilfield Sichuan-Chongqing Exploration Area's cumulative natural gas production exceeds 5 billion cubic meters of commercial gas

On April 27th, reporters learned from the Daqing Oilfield Sichuan-Chongqing Exploration Area that the cumulative natural gas production in the area has surpassed 5 billion cubic meters. The daily gas production remains stable at 5.7 million cubic meters, providing strong support for the country’s energy supply. It is understood that since 2018, Daqing Oilfield has been deeply cultivating the Sichuan-Chongqing Exploration Area, adhering to an integrated exploration and development approach, and has successively established the Kaosheng Block 4 pilot development zone, Maokou Formation capacity construction project, and Wusheng Purification Plant, achieving a leap in daily natural gas capacity from 600k to 5.7 million cubic meters, accelerating toward the ambitious goal of an annual production of 2 billion cubic meters.
