BlockBeats News, April 28—Hundreds of AI researchers at Google, a subsidiary of Alphabet(GOOG.O), signed a letter urging Alphabet(GOOG.O) CEO Pichai to refuse to use the company’s AI systems for confidential U.S. defense mission workflows. “We are Google employees, and we are deeply concerned about the negotiations ongoing between Google and the U.S. Department of Defense,” the statement said. The letter was released amid a legal dispute between the Pentagon and Anthropic over the use of AI in the military domain. The Pentagon is seeking to remove Anthropic and its Claude AI tools from the U.S. defense supply chain and is looking for new tech giant AI partners. (Jin10)
