NATO Members Consider Slowing Annual Summit Cycle, With 2028 Meeting at Risk

Some NATO members are pushing to slow the alliance’s annual summit cycle after leaders met every summer since 2021. Six sources said the 2027 summit planned for Albania could move to the autumn of that year, and NATO is also considering canceling the 2028 summit.
