Here's some news — MetaMask together with Mastercard have finally launched their card across all of America, including New York. Previously, it wasn't available there, but now people can spend crypto just like a regular card at any store. Interestingly, unlike many alternatives, you remain the owner of your assets — they are not held in a custodial account. Conversion happens only at the time of payment. There is even a premium version for $199 a year with cashback up to 3%. The standard card offers up to 1% in mUSD. I don't know about you, but I like the idea that the MetaMask card works through their wallet — no extra middlemen. It is already available in several countries, including Argentina, Canada, and the UK. Has anyone tried it yet?
