Reject Sending Envoys to Pakistan, Trump Says Negotiations with Iran Are Sufficient via Phone

President Donald Trump stated that peace negotiations with Iran can be conducted over the phone, without the need for face-to-face meetings.
This decision was made after talks in Islamabad showed no progress, where Iran's Foreign Minister left the location without concrete results.
According to Reuters reports, Trump even canceled plans to send a U.S. envoy to Pakistan, which was previously scheduled to continue peace talks.
Trump considers that such a long journey is inefficient, and communication can be done directly via phone if Iran truly wants to negotiate.
He also emphasized that the United States remains open to dialogue, but with the main condition related to Iran's nuclear program.
Meanwhile, Iran continues diplomatic efforts through mediators like Pakistan, although no agreement has been reached between the two sides.
This situation indicates that diplomatic channels are still open, but the approach is increasingly shifting toward indirect communication.
Amid ongoing conflicts, the differing positions between the two countries remain the main obstacle to reaching an agreement.
