Today I checked on-chain data again and it "lagged," I thought my internet was down, but it’s probably not my phone... Indexers/Subgraphs are like someone in the background helping you turn a bunch of messy blocks into a readable table; when they nap/queue, your front end suddenly goes blind. Plus, with RPC rate limiting, in simple terms, it’s like “Don’t crowd in, only ask a few times per person,” if you refresh too often, you get blocked.

Recently, before and after the upgrade of that mainstream public chain, everyone has been guessing whether the ecosystem will migrate. I think, whether it migrates or not, just the brief hiccups during maintenance windows are enough to blow the minds of many who rely on data for trading (including me). Anyway, I now treat it like leverage trading, habitually leaving myself a "backup": check multiple data sources, have an extra RPC, if it gets really stuck, switch it out, don’t keep staring at the spinning circle on the edge of liquidation.
