I started recording the moments when "slippage suddenly widens / the transaction price looks strange," only to realize that many so-called arbitrage opportunities are, frankly, more like me paying others fees.


Things like sandwiches—when you watch the candlestick chart thinking you've grabbed a good deal, but on the blockchain, a quick sequence reveals someone else took the first bite, you swallowed it, and in the end, you even helped raise the price... It's quite frustrating.

Recently, Meme and celebrity shoutouts are back, with a bunch of newcomers rushing into the group.
I don't want to dampen the enthusiasm, but veteran players say "don't take the last baton," and it's not just for show.
Opportunities are definitely there, but most of the time what you see is the excitement, while others see your urgency.
Anyway, I now prefer to do fewer trades, slower, at least to avoid being the one who "looks like they made money but was actually drained."
