Iranian officials: Hormuz transit fees must be settled in Iranian rials
Golden Finance reports that on April 27, Ebrahim Azizi, Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of Iran’s Islamic Parliament, said in an interview broadcast on April 26 that the transit fees for the Strait of Hormuz must be settled in Iran’s domestic currency, the rial, and that ships and cargo associated with Israel are not allowed to pass under any circumstances.
