Kuwait Airways resumes flight operations

Kuwait Airways announced on the 26th that, with the reopening of Kuwaiti airspace, the airline has resumed flight operations.
Kuwait News Agency quoted Acting CEO Abdul Wahab Shatti on the same day, saying that flights have already been operated to Cairo, Amman, New Delhi, Mumbai, and Manila, marking the phased resumption of the company’s services.
In the coming weeks, the company will gradually expand its service scope while ensuring efficiency and safety.
On February 28th, Kuwait announced a temporary closure of its airspace.
Since then, Kuwait International Airport has experienced multiple drone attacks, causing serious damage to airport facilities.
On the 23rd of this month, the Kuwait Civil Aviation Authority announced the reopening of Kuwait International Airport airspace from today, gradually restoring air transport activities.
