Lately, the more I look, the more I feel that "what you see on the chain" does not equal "what actually happened on the chain." The transaction or settlement you see on your phone is sometimes just because you're connected to a node that's a bit slow, or the intermediate relay layer is queuing for too long. Not to mention some data tools and tagging systems, which are criticized for lagging behind or even misleading users. I'm not surprised: they also rely on feeding data to survive, and if the source is slow, everything slows down.
Now I tend to check multiple entry points and cross-reference them, especially when I encounter abnormal transactions. Don't jump to conclusions or imagine a story right away. Honestly, first confirm whether "the time I see" is really "the time on the chain," or you'll easily get led astray.
