Elon Musk took a swipe at the Democratic Party with a remark insinuating the shooting incident: if they gained political power, it would be unimaginable
BlockBeats News, April 26 — Elon Musk once again commented on the White House Correspondents' Dinner shooting incident: “If they are willing to die for an assassination, imagine what they would do if they gained political power.” Earlier today, Musk said, “They are willing to die to kill a democratically elected president.”
BlockBeats believes that Musk’s open criticism of the assassin is, in effect, a veiled political critique aimed at the opposition Democratic Party. At present, more background information about the White House dinner shooter, Cole Thomas Allen, has been further disclosed. He had previously made small donations as a teacher to Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris (Kamala Harris) ahead of the 2024 U.S. election, and registered to vote as “non-partisan,” which indicates a closer political association with the Democratic Party. The suspect’s potential political inclinations could become a handle for the Trump camp to crack down on opponents. However, as the incumbent rather than a challenger, Trump has shown some restraint compared with earlier. After today’s shooting, he referred to the assassin’s act as a “lone wolf” operation, with the intention of diluting the narrative of party conflict.
