🔥Tillis Concedes: Probability of Fed Chair Wash’s Nomination Confirmation Rises to 93%

On April 26, Senator Thom Tillis, who had previously explicitly blocked the confirmation of Fed Chair Wash’s nomination, made a concession and agreed to move forward with the Senate confirmation process. Tillis had demanded that the Department of Justice stop its investigation into Wash, or he would not back the nomination. On April 24, Piro, the Washington, D.C. prosecutor, said it would halt the related investigation. This move clears the way for Wash’s nomination. PolyBeats data shows that on Polymarket, the probability that Wash would be confirmed as Fed chair before May 15 has risen to 93%.
