In the past two days, I’ve seen people criticize the platform during liquidations. But a lot of the time, it’s because the oracle price feed is lagging—just half a step behind. You think you’re still safe, but on-chain, they’ve already condemned you based on the old price. Once there’s a delay, stop-losses and margin top-ups turn into chasing shadows, and especially when volatility is high—just a few minutes can take you from “still okay” to “gone.” What’s even more annoying is that on-chain data tools and the label system are also being criticized for being delayed and still being able to mislead you: you stare at the dashboard and reassure yourself, but it might just be a story that arrived late.
