Mars Finance News: Litecoin (LTC) on the X platform disclosed that a recent zero-day vulnerability had led to a DoS attack, affecting major mining pools. Mining nodes that were not updated in time allowed an invalid MWEB (MimbleWimble Extension Block) transaction to be executed, enabling related tokens to be withdrawn to third-party DEXes. The Litecoin network rolled back these invalid transactions through a reorganization (reorg) of 13 blocks, confirming they will not be included in the main chain. All valid transactions during this period remained unaffected. The vulnerability has now been fully patched, and the network is operating normally.
