Recently, someone has been shouting about going for airdrops again, and I’m a bit scared… To be honest, I’m not afraid of missing out, I’m afraid of being exploited: once contract permissions are granted, they can’t be taken back, and in the end, people treat their wallets like a “public toilet” just for a few cents. I now basically have two steps: use a small, separate wallet, and before each interaction, check permissions and whether I can revoke them with one click. If the project team has an emergency plan and audit, that’s a plus; if not, forget it, it’s okay to take it slow.

In the community these days, there’s been a lot of arguing about privacy coins/mixing compliance. I see one thing more clearly: don’t treat “technological neutrality” as a shield. When something really goes wrong, the chain won’t explain your motives. As for data and intuition, I trust data more—at least permissions, code, and past incidents won’t change just because I’m emotional. Anyway, I’d rather miss out on a few opportunities than be taught a lesson again.
