Ask AI · Where exactly does the blood source that pollutes express delivery come from?

Recently, a netizen posted that the food package sent by a friend was replaced with new packaging by SF Express during transit, and after receiving the package, they found blood of unknown origin inside. After contacting customer service, they learned that the package was opened and replaced at the Zhengzhou Yuanbo transfer center because a package containing blood in transit from a peer was damaged, contaminating her package.

On April 4th, Xiaoxiang Morning Post · Morning Video reporter contacted SF Express Zhengzhou Yuanbo transfer center regarding this matter. Staff stated that the matter is currently being followed up by dedicated personnel and they are not convenient to provide relevant details. SF Express customer service said they would verify and respond to this incident.

According to the post published by the netizen, her friend sent rice noodles and other pasta from Henan (the food in the package was all rice noodles or similar pasta, no fresh produce, only used food-grade bags for fresh meat; there was no blood before sending). It was shipped on April 1st and received on the 3rd. After receiving the goods, she initially saw that the outer packaging was damaged and dented. Because the inside contained fragile items like rice noodles, she recorded an unboxing video. After opening, she found the contents were disorganized, and the rice noodles’ plastic wrap was covered with an unknown red liquid. At first, she thought it was spilled seasoning, but after checking, there was no leakage. A careful smell revealed a bloody odor, and her hands were sticky.

She verified with her friend and found that the received package was completely different from what her friend sent. After contacting SF customer service, she was told that the package was opened and replaced at the Zhengzhou Yuanbo transfer center because a package containing blood in transit from a peer was damaged and contaminated her package.

The netizen questioned that SF Express replaced the package without the sender’s or recipient’s consent and did not inform them of the contamination during transit, which violates relevant laws and regulations. She demanded SF Express respond to where the blood contaminating her package came from.

According to the relevant pictures provided by the netizen, the opened package was stained with blood on the inner bag. Logistics information shows that the package was sorted and transferred at Zhengzhou Yuanbo transfer center from 3:12 a.m. to 4:48 a.m. on April 2nd.

The reporter noticed in the comment section of the post that a “SF Express Customer Service Assistant” with a blue V certification left a message at 9:32 p.m. on April 3rd: “Hello, to verify the status of the parcel, please provide relevant parcel information. Once we receive it, we will further feedback and handle the matter. Feel free to contact us at any time.”

On the afternoon of April 4th, Xiaoxiang Morning Post · Morning Video reporter contacted SF Express Zhengzhou Yuanbo transfer center again. Staff stated that the matter is currently being followed up by dedicated personnel and they are not convenient to provide details. “If you have questions, you can only contact SF Express customer service.”

Subsequently, the reporter contacted SF Express customer service, which said they would verify and respond to the incident. As of the time of publication, the reporter has not received a reply.
