**Trump Calls on the U.S. Navy to Shoot Ships Laying Mines in the Strait of Hormuz**
U.S. President (AS) Donald Trump ordered (AL) his Navy to shoot and destroy every Iranian ship that lays mines in the Strait of Hormuz.
“I have ordered the U.S. Navy to shoot and destroy every ship, no matter how small, that lays mines in the waters of the Strait of Hormuz. There must be no hesitation,” Trump wrote, citing his Truth Social on Thursday (23/04).
In addition, U.S. mine-clearing ships are currently cleaning the Strait of Hormuz. Trump said that there are already 159 units destroyed at the bottom of the sea, and he asked that this intensity be carried out three times as often.
As for it, the United States admits that its military has taken control of the Strait of Hormuz and is closing it tightly until Iran can reach an agreement with the Trump administration.
