Hongmeng Lao Xian, this wave is completely ruined!

Recently, a video has been going viral all over the internet. Yu Dazui is sitting in a chair like a boxer during halftime, with a female assistant squatting beside him, unscrewing a bottle of mineral water and handing it to him. After he finishes drinking, the assistant half-squats again to take the water back.
The internet is flooding with comments saying this is imperial-style service, criticizing it as a corporate illness, and accusing this strict hierarchy of treating employees like servants.
But I actually think Yu Dazui is somewhat wronged this time!
He just has a leg injury and is sitting there.
That assistant might be a bit overly flattering, why squat to hand over the phone and water, making herself look like a eunuch, turning Yu Dazui into a local tyrant, roasting the boss on the fire, and getting scolded by the whole internet.
Of course, maybe the overall atmosphere of the company is also quite respectful and orderly, with strict seniority, so the assistant is also very respectful and doesn’t dare slack off.
And then there are the series of provocative operations like leading the way, distilling the “chrysanthemum” with foreign AI chips being cut off, and the toilet seat series—all of which come with black spots, too many flaws, and are basically asking for criticism.
I used to be an assistant too, and I think you should be neither servile nor arrogant. Excessive flattery and fawning are not high emotional intelligence, but clever tricks, not great wisdom.
I remember when I was an assistant to Luo Yonghao, just starting out in the workplace. I thought being an assistant meant taking care of the boss as much as possible, helping him press the elevator button, carrying his bag, blocking the car roof with my hand when getting in to prevent him from hitting his head—that was all natural. But Luo Yonghao directly refused at that time.
He very clearly told me, “I can press the elevator myself. Just do your job well.”
At that moment, I deeply respected Luo Yonghao. He doesn’t enjoy so-called boss privileges, has extremely high personal qualities, and a truly independent personality—he’s not an ordinary person.
A true strong person never needs to diminish others’ dignity to prove their own greatness.
The current public opinion environment has indeed changed. The internet has leveled everything that was once unreachable. Today’s young people believe more in equality.
Especially in a bad overall environment, many people are on the edge of the line, and their sensitivity to issues like wealth gap and unfair resource distribution has reached its peak.
