Seeing the trending topic "Hmm because I didn't fill out EVUS, I couldn't go to the US" really made me laugh.
Anyone with a little common sense about going to the US knows:
1. Travel agencies must fill it out: These family trips usually have professional agents handling it, and EVUS is a basic operation that takes two minutes, so the travel agency wouldn't miss it.
2. Boarding check: If EVUS isn't approved, you won't even get your boarding pass at the domestic airport counter, and there's no way you'll fly and then claim you "didn't go."
Stop using "carelessness" as an excuse; this kind of statement is most likely just covering up some undisclosed real reason.
We're all adults, so there's no need to pay this kind of IQ tax. 😢
