The boss installed a big red button in the workshop: "Anyone who thinks there's a problem with the process, press it. The whole factory will stop to fix it."
A month passed, and no one pressed it.
The boss got anxious: "No press, no bonus!"
The next day, the button was pressed forty-seven times. The cafeteria's bean sprouts were too old, there was no toilet paper, the air conditioner dripped water...
The boss was overwhelmed: "Are you guys doing this on purpose?"
Employees: "You said, if there's a problem, just press it."
The boss took the button apart and locked it in his office: "This thing affects production."
On the third day, the production line really got stuck—robot arms grabbed crookedly, but no one dared to stop.
The boss stormed in and yelled: "Why didn't you press it?"
Employees pointed at his office door.
The boss ran back, rummaged through the drawers— the button was gone.
The workshop director slowly took out the red button: "I took it apart. I was afraid you'd press it out of impulse and waste electricity."
The boss was stunned.
The director reinstalled it on the assembly line and pasted a note: "Boss and dogs are not allowed inside."
