Recently, there's been more debate about whether secondary market royalties should be mandatory. Frankly, I can understand both sides: creators want a steady cash flow, while trading platforms and buyers feel "I paid money and still get taken a cut," which is pretty awkward. It's just that the more this argument heats up, the more I stay calm—if royalties rely on moral coercion, it's like the bullish market sentiment, it dissipates once the wind stops; for long-term sustainability, it probably comes back to "what irreplaceable value are you providing," making people willing to pay voluntarily, or designing rights more like subscriptions rather than one-time sales of art. Looking at the airdrop season and the anti-witchcraft tasks on reward platforms, the points system has turned the "grind" community into a bunch of workers, which I find quite reflective: people don't lack support for creators, they’re just more used to clear incentives. I won't pick a side for now; I’ll just watch slowly and not get carried away by the hype.
