Once people notice that you are good at making money, it becomes easy for ill-intentioned individuals to target you for borrowing money or investment opportunities.
Basically, they are all scams. Usually, avoid discussing your family's financial situation with colleagues and friends. Stay low-key, and be discreet in your career as well.
Boasting will bring disaster. As the saying goes, "The bird that sticks out gets shot." You never know what someone truly thinks deep inside, and only being low-key is the best way to protect yourself.
