Your Own Exchange Gate Has Introduce New Features That Reduce Trading Risks and Increase Profit Opportunities
Your own Exchange has introduced an important and innovative feature for market orders. It aims to reduce trading risks improve order execution and give users greater control.
When placing a market order traders often face the issue of a difference between the intended order price and the final executed price known as slippage. Due to sudden market fluctuations or low liquidity an order may not be executed at the expected price but at a different one which increases the risk of losses. For example if you place an order for 100 USDT and it gets executed at 102 USDT due to market movement this difference can affect your profits.
To address this issue Gate has launched two key features. The first is maximum slippage for market orders which allows users to place orders safely within the platforms predefined limits. If the price exceeds this limit the order is automatically canceled protecting users from unexpected losses. The second is customizable slippage allowing users to set their own maximum acceptable slippage within the platforms allowed range. This feature is especially useful in perpetual futures markets where prices can change very rapidly.
Here is how the feature works. When placing a market order users are given the option to control slippage. They can select their desired slippage percentage or amount. Once the order reaches the market the system checks whether the price is within the set limit. If it is the order is executed. If it exceeds the limit the order is automatically canceled. This feature is also available through the app and API providing traders with greater convenience and flexibility.
Users can benefit from this feature in multiple ways. It reduces the potential for losses caused by unexpected price fluctuations. It enhances the trading experience and gives traders the freedom to place orders according to their risk preferences. Some users prefer low and safe slippage while others seek faster execution even with slightly higher slippage and now both options are available.
This feature is now officially live. Users can access the slippage option on their order panel and adjust it according to their preferences. Gates feature not only increases trading safety but also gives traders better control and more effective outcomes. It is particularly helpful in large markets highly volatile conditions and low liquidity scenarios protecting traders from risks while enabling them to execute orders at better prices.
