Beware of false victims: On-chain detective exposes scam accounts involved in the Trust Wallet incident
【BitPush】On-chain security monitoring circles have discovered another old but effective scam technique.
Well-known on-chain detective ZachXBT recently revealed on social media that someone is impersonating a Trust Wallet vulnerability victim to generate hype. How suspicious is this account? It has changed its username 44 times, a classic sign of a scam account.
Even more outrageous, this person has participated in multiple meme coin scams. If you review his posting history, you’ll find very few posts—this pattern is very typical: waiting for major events to happen before jumping in to ride the wave. The most cunning move is that he has even blocked ZachXBT himself, clearly to avoid being exposed.
This is a typical “event marketing scam.” Users need to be cautious. Next time you see stories like “victim recount” or “how much I lost,” check the account history first. Don’t be swayed by fabricated tragic stories. On the chain, data speaks for itself.
Blocking ZachXBT is a brilliant move, might as well write "I'm a scammer" on his face
The moment I blocked ZachXBT, I knew this wasn't that simple; the actor himself was exposed.
