In the crypto world, there are four terms that are common in the communities:

**HODL** - First of all, this is a way of saying 'hold onto your assets' without selling them, no matter what happens in the market. It originated from a typo on a phone, but now it’s a determined attempt to keep your cryptocurrency even when prices are falling.

**BUIDL** - The second term, meaning 'build'. People encourage developers and innovators to focus on creating real projects rather than chasing after prices.

**SAFU** - SAFU here is the third, indicating that your digital money is secure. It reflects the ongoing concern for the safety of wallets and custody houses in the sector.

**DOYR** - Finally, "Do Your Own Research" - do your own research. Crypto communities always encourage people not to follow every piece of advice blindly, but to study the facts themselves before making decisions.

By the way, I stopped believing in the HODL approach a long time ago. Surviving until now has been entirely thanks to DOYR saving my life.

Hodl this meme cracks me up, it's really the biggest self-deception in the crypto circle.

BUIDL is the real way, a hundred times better than just shouting signals every day.

SAFU is even more ridiculous, how many people are still holding coins on exchanges? Not learning their lesson.

DYOR is correct, but most people simply can't do it, they all get carried away.

The four words I find most annoying are actually the overused hodl, which has become an excuse for losing money.

ngl hodl is just cope for bag holders who fomo'd at the top... technically speaking if you actually look at the data, correlation coefficient between hodl conviction and liquidation rates is honestly depressing

Honestly, the HODL approach has been overplayed now. The real profit comes from those who can BUIDL.

I have to say something about DOYR. How many people say DOYR but then follow the trend and go all in? It's hilarious.

SAFU is the most important, brother. If your wallet isn't secure, everything else is pointless.
