The most heartbreaking thing in the crypto world isn't losing money, but winning and having your funds stuck at the gate, unable to withdraw! 🤡

A friend of mine recently made $300,000 USD in profit and was excited to withdraw. But what happened? His bank card instantly turned into a “brick”—“non-cash transaction suspension.” The money was right in front of him, but he couldn’t move a single cent.

Even more devastating than a sudden market crash is this kind of “profit paralysis.”

Why does this happen? Because the USD you receive might be linked to someone else’s “dirty money.” Scammers buy illicit funds OTC and transfer them to you in USD. When the police trace the transaction, your card becomes a target. You haven’t done anything wrong, but you still lose—losing at the final step of withdrawal.

Don’t panic; 90% of the time, it can be resolved. Prepare your transaction records, chat screenshots, and on-chain proof to demonstrate your legitimate transactions to the police. Eventually, your card will be unfrozen. But this process is time-consuming and exhausting, enough to wipe out all your joy of quick riches.

So, prevention is far more important than cure. Here are three “money-protection rules” I’ve learned through personal trial and error:

🛡️ First, isolation is key.
Use a dedicated card solely for OTC deposits and withdrawals. Make it a “segregation chamber” for your funds—never mix it with your main personal card.

🛡️ Second, choosing the right partner matters more than effort.
Only trade with reputable, long-standing, and well-reviewed traders. Don’t risk your account zeroing out just for a tiny difference in price.

🛡️ Third, details can make or break you.
Split large transactions, operate during daytime, and keep transfer remarks clear. After the funds arrive, it’s best to hold for a few days before using them, to make the transaction history look more natural and secure.

In the crypto world, making money is a skill, but safely cashing out is true expertise. A mature trader isn’t the one with the most unrealized gains on their account, but the one who can successfully and securely withdraw their profits.

Market risks are unavoidable, but what’s truly scary is losing your profits on the way out.
