Jin10 data, September 29: A Reuters survey shows that all 39 economists interviewed expect the central bank to keep the Interest Rate unchanged this week. Although over 80% of respondents (32 out of 39) anticipate a 25 basis point cut by the end of the year, 7 economists now predict that there will be no further easing in 2025, compared to only 1 person holding this view in the August survey. The Reserve Bank of Australia may retain the option for easing in November without making a clear commitment. Any indication beyond this scope will significantly impact the AUD/USD exchange rate.
