HKMA: Introduce personal loan cooling-off period in Hong Kong retail banks in a timely manner

On November 5th, Jinshi Data reported that a spokesperson for the Hong Kong Monetary Authority responded to the Shanghai Securities News reporter that, to promote responsible lending behavior and to reduce the risk of impulsive and excessive borrowing by bank customers, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority believes that it is an appropriate time to provide a cooling-off period for unsecured consumer credit products to individual customers in Hong Kong retail banks.
