Scenarios That Can Be Experienced in the Market with Bitcoin Halving

The long-awaited Bitcoin ETF approval failed to deliver the result investors had hoped for, and the BTC could not last at the point where it rose. It fell below $40,000. Now the spotlight has turned to the Bitcoin halving, and Ethereum will potentially be the biggest winner of this event.

When 210,000 blocks are mined, which happens approximately every four years. The block reward allocated to Bitcoin miners for transactions is halved. This event is called a halving because of the effect that halves the rate at which new BTC enter circulation.

The purpose of this event is to reduce the circulation of new coins and increase the price of Bitcoin.

According to Cathie Wood, Ethereum Will Overtake Bitcoin

Wood's long-term predictions offer ambitious predictions for Bitcoin and Ethereum. He predicts three scenarios for Bitcoin from 2023 to 2030;

A bear market of $258,000 and a bull market of $1.48 million. For Ethereum, it predicts that from 2022 to 2032, its market capitalization could exceed $20 trillion, which could increase the value of each ETH to $166,000.

Financial Institutions Give a Bullish Signal for ETH

The report from investment management firm VanEck offers a positive prediction for Ethereum's future, and the Report draws three potential scenarios for Ethereum's market price by 2030; a bullish scenario, a bearish scenario, and a fundamental scenario.

In the event of a bullish run, Ethereum's market price could rise to $51,006, a 31-fold increase from its current value. The parameters that support this optimistic scenario are supported by Ethereum's capacity to offer security and its use as a store of value.

ETF Approval for Ethereum Is Expected To Be A Major Factor

The SEC's approval of Bitcoin ETFs is considered a major milestone in the cryptocurrency industry, and this decision is seen as an important step towards wider acceptance of cryptocurrencies in the financial sector. The SEC will make a decision on spot Ethereum ETF applications by May 23, 2024.

From ETFs to Bitcoin's halving, many events could push Ethereum's price to new all-time highs and provide investors with significant gains, but they're all just guesswork.
