According to Financial News, Samsung Asset Management and Kiwoom Investment launched CPU-specialized ETFs on August 6, significantly reducing Nvidia's portfolio weight. Samsung's KODEX US CPU Semiconductor TOP10 allocated over 75% to CPU leaders Intel, AMD, and Arm, excluding Nvidia and Micron.

The shift reflects changing AI infrastructure priorities. As AI agents expand beyond generative models to handle sequential tasks—search, booking, payments, document creation—CPU's role grows. TrendForce forecasts data center CPU-to-GPU ratios shifting from 1:4-8 to 1:1-2. Recent earnings support this: Intel's data center AI revenue surged 59% to $6.3 billion, Arm's data center royalties doubled, and AMD's data center revenue jumped 107%.
