The company's Q2 revenue surged 48% year-over-year to $23 billion, driven by blockbuster weight-loss drugs Mounjaro and Zepbound, which posted sales of $9.9 billion and $4.9 billion respectively—up 91% and 44% YoY.
Adjusted net income climbed 32% to $7.5 billion, with earnings per share of $8.38 beating Wall Street consensus of $6.58. Eli Lilly raised its full-year revenue guidance to $85–87 billion from the previous range of $82–85 billion.
