Eli Lilly Tops Q2 Estimates with EPS $8.38, Raises 2026 Revenue Outlook to $85-87B as Mounjaro and Zepbound Surge

According to its Q2 earnings report released on Wednesday, Eli Lilly reported adjusted earnings per share of $8.38 versus $6.01 expected and revenue of $22.97 billion versus $20.73 billion expected. The pharmaceutical giant raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $85-87 billion from a previous range of $82-85 billion. Mounjaro worldwide revenue rose 91% year-over-year to $9.94 billion for the quarter, with U.S. sales of $4.8 billion surpassing the $4.44 billion analysts expected. Zepbound U.S. revenue reached $4.93 billion, up 44% from the prior year and exceeding the $4.69 billion forecast.
