JR Global RITZ Shareholders Elect Two Minority-Backed Directors to Board

According to Yonhap News, two independent director candidates recommended by a minority shareholder coalition have been elected to the board of JR Global RITZ, a South Korean real estate investment trust, at a recent shareholders meeting. The minority shareholders, who consolidated approximately 16% of individual holdings, secured support from institutional investors including Mirae Asset Asset Management (holding about 9%) and Samsung Asset Management (about 5%) through their REIT ETF positions, enabling the directors' election.
