FLNC Shares Tumble 24% After-Hours on Mixed Q3 Results, FY26 Outlook Slashed

FLNC-2.68%
Fluence Energy (FLNC) reported mixed third-quarter results yesterday, with shares tumbling 24% in after-hours trading after the company slashed its fiscal 2026 revenue guidance. Q3 revenue reached $649.8 million, falling short of the $811.12 million consensus due to a three-month production delay at the new Houston enclosure facility and quality issues at an international manufacturing plant. Gross margin compressed to 5.1% from 14.8% year-over-year, and the company posted a net loss of $44.3 million versus a $6.9 million profit a year ago. Fluence cut full-year revenue guidance to $2.9–$3.1 billion from $3.2–$3.6 billion, with roughly $400 million in project deliveries pushed into fiscal 2027. CEO Julian Nebreda said customer demand remains strong and production targets are on track for early 2027, with order backlog reaching a record $6.4 billion.
