LME tin futures jumped $729 to $56,718 per ton today (August 5), marking the largest single-day gain among London Metal Exchange contracts. Copper rose $44 to $14,110/ton, aluminum added $18 to $3,241/ton, and zinc climbed $56 to $3,729/ton. Conversely, nickel fell $79 to $17,114/ton and lead dropped $10 to $1,886/ton, while cobalt remained flat at $56,290/ton.
