According to Odaily and PRNewswire, Bitcoin miner Hut 8 announced Q2 2026 financial results showing significant progress in its AI data center operations. The company has secured 949MW of committed IT capacity across its AI data centers, representing approximately $26.6 billion in gross contract value. Hut 8's Beacon Point campus in the U.S. completed a second AI data center lease agreement for 352MW with the same investment-grade customer as phase one, with the 15-year lease expected to generate approximately $9.8 billion in gross contract value and $655 million in annual average net operating income.
Q2 revenues reached $74.9 million, up 81% year-over-year, with ASIC computing power, AI cloud, and traditional cloud services accounting for $72.5 million. The company reported a net loss of $177.1 million, primarily due to unrealized losses on digital assets of approximately $138.6 million. Hut 8 also completed $7.5 billion in investment-grade project financing for its River Bend and Beacon Point developments.
