RippleX Ships Rewritten Batch and Permission Delegation in xrpld 3.3.0, Awaits 80% Validator Approval

RippleX expects to ship xrpld 3.3.0 the week of August 1, 2026, with rewritten versions of the Batch and Permission Delegation amendments, both previously blocked after critical security flaws were discovered. No funds were ever lost. According to product head Jazzi Cooper, all five amendments in the 3.3.0 release require validator voting before activation, with the two rewrites needing to clear the 80% validator threshold. The original Batch amendment contained a signature-validation bug that allowed attackers to execute transactions from arbitrary accounts without holding private keys. Permission Delegation exposed a separate flaw where invalid transactions could still charge fees before authorization checks occurred. The replacements, BatchV1_1 and PermissionDelegationV1_1, redesign the authorization and verification logic to close both attack surfaces. The remaining three amendments—Confidential MPT, Sponsored Fees and Reserves, and Dynamic MPT—target institutional tokenization and aim to reduce friction for institutional deployments on the XRPL.
