On Aug. 5, Bitcoin traded at $64,068.82, down 0.42% in 24 hours, consolidating within the $63,958–$64,508 band despite a broader rally in global equity markets. The S&P 500 and Dow Jones closed at all-time highs, while Japan's Nikkei gained 3.5% and South Korea's benchmark surged 4.3%. Supporting factors included lower crude oil prices near $78.85 and a U.S. 10-year Treasury yield of approximately 4.603%. Spot Bitcoin ETFs posted $19.6 million in net inflows on Aug. 4, though this followed a $265 million outflow day. The $64,300 level remains critical resistance; a sustained break above $65,000 could open further upside, while a daily close below $60,000 would threaten the recovery structure off June lows.
