Baron Securities Launches in London to Connect Canadian Mining Companies With UK Investors

Baron Securities, an FCA-regulated corporate finance adviser founded by Jeremy Woodgate and Peter Cunningham, has launched in London with a focus on helping Canadian exploration and mining companies raise capital and secure secondary listings in the UK. The boutique firm plans to advise Canadian junior miners on accessing investors through the London Stock Exchange and Aquis Exchange, targeting companies with shareholders in both the UK and Canadian jurisdictions. According to Woodgate, the overlap between UK and Canadian investor bases creates an opportunity for smaller mining companies to access greater pools of capital, while dual listings can improve share liquidity and analyst coverage.
