South Korea's KOSPI Surges 4.39% Today, Buy-Side Circuit Breaker Triggered

According to MoneToday, South Korea's KOSPI index surged 4.39% to 6,638.21 points today (August 5), triggering a buy-side circuit breaker for the 45th time this year. Semiconductor giants Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix led the rally, rising 4.58% and 7.36% respectively, tracking overnight semiconductor strength in U.S. markets. Foreign investors net bought 1.11 trillion won while domestic individuals net sold 1.21 trillion won.
