Major organizations are accumulating Bitmine shares during the sell-off

Major financial institutions appear to have taken advantage of the recent market downturn to increase their holdings in Bitmine (BMNR), according to the SEC 13F filing for February 2026. Currently, 457 organizations hold approximately 136.7 million shares, with a total value of nearly $2.87 billion. Morgan Stanley, ARK Investment Management, and BlackRock all significantly increased their shareholdings.

Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Citigroup, and Bank of New York Mellon also reported notable increases. The 11 largest organizations alone account for nearly 47% of the total institutional ownership. Accumulation during a market decline typically reflects a long-term investment strategy rather than short-term trading. History shows that large institutions often increase their positions when prices fall and market sentiment weakens, indicating confidence in future growth potential.
