Delphi Digital: Speculative funds are flowing from the crypto market to AI and robotics sectors

Odaily Planet Daily reports that Delphi Digital states that cryptocurrencies are no longer the preferred destination for speculative funds seeking high-risk opportunities. Research shows that most altcoin sectors performed poorly last year, and speculative capital is accelerating its flow into verticals with exponential growth narratives such as AI and robotics.

Aurelie Barthere, Chief Research Analyst at Nansen, said that besides AI applications attracting funds, the re-pricing of Federal Reserve rate cut expectations has led to tightening liquidity in risk assets, and the slow progress of the CLARITY Act amid political deadlock has also put pressure on market sentiment. Data shows that in 2025, robotics startups have raised a total of $13.8 billion, a record high; while cryptocurrency VC investments increased in 2025, they slowed significantly in December, dropping 77% month-over-month.
