Kaito: Will shut down Yaps and the incentive leaderboard, and launch Kaito Studio

ChainCatcher message, Kaito founder Yu Hu posted on Twitter that after discussions with X, both parties agree that a fully permissionless distribution system is no longer feasible. Yaps and the incentive leaderboard will be shut down, and Kaito Studio will be launched. This is a more traditional multi-level marketing platform where brands can selectively collaborate with creators based on established standards and clear project scope. "2026 will be the year Kaito surpasses CT as its main platform and overtakes cryptocurrency as its primary vertical," said Yu Hu.

Earlier, X product head Nikita Bier tweeted that the team is revising the developer API policy to no longer allow applications that reward users for posting on X (such as "infofi") to access the API, as this has led to an influx of AI spam and reply spam on the platform.
