ZKasino founder: Approximately 35% of user ETH refunds have been processed, with plans to process another 40% next week.

ETH-0.33%

Odaily Planet Daily reports that ZKasino founder Derivatives Monke posted on the X platform that approximately 35% of ETH refund requests from ZKasino bridge users have been processed, involving around 2,500 addresses. Users can check their ETH on zkSync Lite or zkSync Era. Due to high Ethereum gas fees, refunds are being processed through these networks. Next week, an additional 40% of requests are planned to be handled, bringing the total completed to 75%. For large withdrawals, KYC and other procedures will be required.

According to previous reports, ZKasino suddenly changed its official website rules in April 2014, announcing that users' 10,515 ETH (worth about $33 million at the time) would be forcibly converted into ZKAS tokens and locked for 15 months. Later, user funds were misappropriated for contract trading on exchanges. After the incident gained attention, Dutch authorities arrested a 26-year-old man on May 3, suspected to be Elham N. (also known as Derivatives Monke), a co-founder of ZKasino, and seized assets worth $12.2 million.
