According to Mars Finance news, on September 16, Cointelegraph reported that the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) will collaborate with the blockchain and artificial intelligence advocacy non-profit organization Exponential Science Foundation to launch the "Government Blockchain Academy" next year. This academy will provide specialized education and implementation projects on blockchain, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies for government departments to help drive transformation. It will focus on using blockchain technology to address urgent development challenges, including creating trustworthy verifiable digital credentials, improving Financial Service and digital payments, tracking and accounting for public procurement processes, maintaining tamper-proof records to combat corruption, and using Token and smart contracts for climate financing, among others. The academy plans to launch in some countries in 2026, with course design work starting this year.
