How should position size be calculated? Why is it more reasonable to determine the risk amount first and then decide how much to buy?
In crypto trading, many people tend to assess the market first and then decide how much to buy, overlooking the most important question: if their judgment is wrong, how much of a loss can they actually afford to bear? Sound position management should start with a risk budget, not potential returns.
First, determine the amount of risk you can afford to take.
Suppose your account has 1,000 USDT and you plan to limit the risk on a single trade to 1% of your account

$TRUMP Funds have been flowing out over the past couple of days, with sustained net outflows.
Right, right—anything above 1U is a high price, so short it outright. If you're stuck at a high price, look for a chance to get out ⬇️⬇️⬇️
After the Republican defeat, Trump's crypto narrative completely fizzled out!
Even at the height of Trump's popularity, he couldn't pump the coin. Now it's been cast aside, and you still expect it to surge violently? Dream on.
At its peak, its market cap was in the tens of billions; now it's shrunk to just $1 billion.
If this trend continues, it's really only a mat

Speaking of which, I reposted BlockchainBaller’s $ZEC trade earlier today (11-05), and here it is again 👇

As usual, I’m just reposting it. You decide for yourself, babe, whether the trade makes sense, whether to follow it, and how large a position to take. Get carried away with a single trade and you’ll get burned 👀

What are support and resistance levels? Why do these price zones influence traders’ decisions yet are not absolutely reliable boundaries?
In cryptocurrency trading, prices often repeatedly rebound or retreat in certain zones. Traders usually call these zones support and resistance levels. They can help analyze market structure, but they do not guarantee that prices will rebound or reverse.
First, what are support and resistance levels?
Support is an area where buying pressure may increase and a price decline may temporarily slow; resistance is an area where selling pressure may increase and pr

Check the public filings. Canary has filed a Form 8-A for a staked $INJ ETF, ticker INJC, and the listing is already approved by Nasdaq. The S-1 is on its fifth amendment, near the end of the pre-effective stage.
The 8-A is one of the final steps before launch. A staked ETF means price exposure plus staking yield, regulated.
The filings are public for a reason 👀

#GoldBreaksAbove4100 #DailyStandouts $XAUT #ShareWeekly
Gold is back above $4,100, and the first question everyone asks is whether new highs are next. I think that is the wrong question for now. Here is how I see it in simple terms.
Where the move came from
Gold jumped more than 3% on Wednesday and added about 2% more on Thursday. From roughly $3,940 before the election to about $4,135 now is a gain of around 5% in two days. The reason was not fear. The dollar fell to a one month low, the 10 year yield slipped to about 4.89%, and oil dropped on hopes that tension with Iran will cool. That is

What Is a Stop-Loss? Why Doesn’t Setting One Necessarily Prevent Losses Completely?
In cryptocurrency trading, a stop-loss is an important risk management tool, but many traders mistakenly believe that setting one will strictly limit losses to the expected range. In reality, a stop-loss can help execute a risk plan, but it cannot guarantee the final execution price.
First, what is a stop-loss?
A stop-loss is an order to close a position or sell when the price reaches a preset condition, in order to limit potential losses. For example, if the price falls below a predetermined risk level after y

I called a long on ETH at 2228 on the 30th; it’s now at 2426U, up nearly 200 points.
Back then, it had just been dumped to 2178, falling even harder than BTC, and the whole screen was full of people cursing ETH for being useless.
This past week, it hit resistance below 2300 three times—2309, 2300, and 2301—and each time it was just a little short, only to get pushed back down. Quite a few guys couldn’t hold on and got out near their entry price.
This time it finally broke through. The first target at 2350 was hit, so I took half off and pocketed the gains. The rest topped out at 2443, just 7 p

#QualcommAndArmEarningsInFocus 🤔
On the evening of November 4th (U.S. time), all eyes in the industry will be fixed on the same place: Qualcomm and Arm are set to release their financial results. Both companies sit at the heart of the chip world, yet they are experiencing vastly different climates.
For Qualcomm, a slowdown in smartphone demand and rising memory chip costs are weighing on the short term. For Arm, the narrative is defined by growth driven by data centers and artificial intelligence. In short, one company will be focused on a potential recovery, while the other will highlight ho

$SNDK Sharp plunge! Can the 1,000 level hold?
SanDisk has been quite volatile these past few days. Sister Xing said last night that when crypto rises, U.S. stocks fall, and SanDisk would definitely find support near 1,000.
There are large buy orders around 1,000, and Sister Xing remains very bullish on this level holding. If buyers can push the price higher and drive the rebound above 1,030, SanDisk could still reach 1,100. If the rebound is weak, SanDisk could well fall to 980 or even 950. If it breaks below 950, it may even look for support near 900.#SK海力士跌近7%

#USEarningsSeason $AAPL $QCOM $AMD $PLTR
Four of the biggest AI linked names reported this week, and the pattern is more interesting than any single number. All four beat on the headline, and three of the four still got sold. Here is how I read it.
Beat and sell is the new normal
Apple earned $2.10 a share against $1.99 expected, and revenue rose 12% to $114.5 billion. Palantir grew revenue 96% to $2.31 billion, about 6% above estimates. AMD reported $13.38 billion against $13.06 billion expected, with data center sales up 97%. Qualcomm also topped estimates. Yet Apple fell, Palantir fell and

Machi Big Brother is making a killing again!
He’s not only going long but also adding to his position, using 25x leverage to build from over 2,000 contracts to nearly 6,700. His latest average entry price is 2366, and his unrealized profit has surged past $460k, but his liquidation price has also been pushed up to 2391.
Big Brother is charging ahead with full confidence, but I’m actually not very bullish on this move in the short term. I recommend positioning for shorts around 2450.
The reasoning is simple:
This rebound after the election results came in looks more like a short squeeze followi

What Is the Sharpe Ratio? How Can You Measure Whether the Returns From a Trading Strategy Are Worth the Risk?
In cryptocurrency trading, a high return does not necessarily mean a strategy is good. If a strategy can generate high returns but comes with sharp volatility and significant drawdowns, we need to further assess whether those returns are worth the associated risk. The Sharpe ratio is one tool that can help answer this question.
First, what is the Sharpe ratio?
The Sharpe ratio measures the excess return earned by a portfolio or trading strategy per unit of volatility risk. Generally, t

Gate has officially launched Proof of Security, or PoSEC, extending beyond Proof of Reserves by disclosing the distribution of cold-storage and hot-wallet assets and introducing a cold storage coverage ratio to measure protection under extreme-risk scenarios. Gate’s latest cold storage coverage ratio stands at 104.58%, with 88.26% of assets in cold storage and 11.74% in hot wallets. A coverage ratio of at least 100% means cold-storage assets alone would still be sufficient to cover all user assets even if hot-wallet assets were fully lost. Exchange security is not only about whether reserves are sufficient, but also how assets are stored and protected under extreme conditions. Could cold storage coverage become a new industry standard?[👉 Learn more](https://gate.com/proof-of-security)
