I dug up one of Jiu Shen’s old prediction tables and had a sudden thought: What numbers would we get if we extended his model another 18 years?
The answer is a little scary: RMB 2.06 billion per BTC.
First, the calculation.
Jiu Shen once proposed an “exponential decay” model: Bitcoin goes through a cycle every 4 years, but the growth multiple gets smaller each time.
The cycle multiples from 2018 to 2038 are 11.8, 7.2, 4.85, 3.54, and 2.75.
