I looked at data from the past three halving cycles: between the 6th and 9th month after each Bitcoin halving, there’s always been a violent altcoin-season shakeout, generally of 20% to 35%, before the main rally begins. We’re now in the 7th month after the halving, and this 22% drop lands right at the upper end of the historical shakeout range.
