How to Trade TW Stocks on Gate

Transfer USDT from your Spot Account or Unified Account to your Stock Account.

Step Three: Place Orders During Trading Hours

TW Stocks trading hours are 01:00–05:25 (UTC), with no midday break. Currently, only trading during the continuous trading session is supported. The 05:25–05:30 closing call auction, pre-market trading, and after-hours trading are not supported. New buy, sell, or position-closing orders cannot be submitted outside trading hours. Activity One: TW Stocks Welcome Gift — Receive TSMC Shares with Your First Trade

During the event, new users who complete their first TW Stocks spot trade can each receive 0.15 TSMC shares, worth approximately 10 USDT.

Limited to the first 1,000 eligible users, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Launch Bonus Draw

Users whose first TW Stocks trade reaches 500 USDT can also enter the bonus draw. After the event ends, 100 eligible users will be selected at random, each receiving an additional 0.70 TSMC shares, worth approximately 50 USDT.

Activity Two: Value Investing Plan — Hold Stocks to Share 575 MediaTek Shares

During the event, the system will take a holdings snapshot at a random time each day. Users will receive a proportional share of the MediaTek reward pools based on the average daily value of their TW Stocks holdings during the event. Each user can receive a cumulative maximum of 4.93 MediaTek shares, worth approximately 600 USDT.

Activity Three: TW Stocks Trading Challenge — Share 9,090 Hon Hai Shares

During the event, users whose cumulative valid TW Stocks spot trading volume reaches the specified thresholds can share Hon Hai rewards in proportion to their trading volume. Each user can receive a cumulative maximum of 104 Hon Hai shares, worth approximately 800 USDT.

Trading Volume and Holdings Calculation Rules

TW Stocks trading volume = Executed buy value + Executed sell value, calculated in USDT equivalent.
Average daily value of TW Stocks holdings = Sum of the daily holdings snapshot values during the event / Number of eligible days in the event period.
TW Stocks prices, the market value of holdings, and profit and loss are displayed in New Taiwan dollars (TWD). Event trading volume and holdings thresholds are converted into USDT equivalent in accordance with the platform's calculation rules.
Only genuine, valid trading volume and holdings generated in Gate's TW Stocks section during the event and after successful registration will be counted.
Unfilled orders, the unfilled portions of canceled orders, stock transfers in or out, price changes, dividends, and other non-trading changes in assets do not count toward trading volume.

Users must click “Join Now” to register for the event and complete the identity verification required by the platform to become eligible for rewards.
Reward stocks are subject to the stocks actually supported in Gate's TW Stocks section. If stock launch arrangements change, the corresponding reward arrangements will be announced on the event page.
Event thresholds are displayed in USDT equivalent, while TW Stocks trades and holdings are denominated in New Taiwan dollars. To help avoid falling below a threshold due to price or exchange rate fluctuations, users are advised to allow a suitable margin above the required amount.
All TSMC (2330), MediaTek (2454), and Hon Hai (2317) rewards in this event will be distributed as spot shares to users' Gate Stock Accounts.
The USDT equivalent amounts stated in this announcement are reference estimates based on stock prices and exchange rates at the time the event was planned. They do not constitute a commitment to a fixed value.
Stock prices and exchange rates may fluctuate. The value of rewards when credited may differ from the amounts displayed on the page. The actual number of shares distributed and their value at that time will apply.
All rewards will be distributed within 14 working days after the event ends and data verification is completed.

TW Stocks trading is available only during the Taiwan Stock Exchange trading sessions supported by the platform. Holidays, trading suspensions, and special trading arrangements are subject to the exchange's rules and the information displayed on Gate.
