Gate has officially enabled deposits and withdrawals of USDCx on Canton Network. Users can now utilize USDCx across trading and asset management scenarios on the platform. Alongside the launch, Gate has also launched multiple ecosystem campaigns, including CandyDrop, the USDCx Deposit Challenge, and Simple Earn, with a combined reward pool valued at $150,000 Canton Network ecosystem token CC. These initiatives are designed to further enhance liquidity and user activity within the Canton ecosystem while expanding the platform's support for multi-chain stablecoin ecosystems.
According to public information, USDCx is a native stablecoin issued on Canton Network and fully backed 1:1 by USDC. Its reserves are supported by USDC held within the Circle xReserve smart contract. As an asset compliant with the Canton CIP-56 standard, USDCx is interoperable and fully composable with assets, applications, wallets, and trading scenarios across Canton Network, while also addressing privacy protection needs. Canton Foundation, an independent nonprofit organization, has long been responsible for facilitating governance and open source infrastructure development for Canton Network, focusing on transparent collaboration, network reliability, and sustainable ecosystem growth for institutional-grade blockchain applications.
To support the launch of USDCx deposit and withdrawal services, Gate has simultaneously introduced multiple ecosystem incentive campaigns. The CandyDrop campaign will focus on CC spot trading and first-trade tasks, with an additional reward pool of 396,360 CC, valued at approximately $50,000, to further boost user participation and market activity. Meanwhile, the "USDCx Deposit Challenge" is now officially live. Users who complete USDCx deposits via Canton Network will be eligible to share approximately $50,000 worth of CC rewards, further promoting stablecoin deposits and ecosystem participation on Canton Network.
On the wealth management side, Gate Simple Earn has launched fixed-term products for CC. The 30-day product offers 20% APY with a maximum allocation of 450,000 CC, while the 60-day product offers 30% APY with a maximum allocation of 150,000 CC. The maximum reward per user is capped at the equivalent of 1,000 USDT in tokens.
